You might be considering Morescope as your carbon management software, and are wondering whether to choose a single company license or an Enteprise license. Or you are using Morescope today, but your company has grown and you suddenly need to expand your Morescope subscription. But you might be wondering what is really the differences in the Morescope license structure? Then this is the article for you!

Even though a Morescope license often includes a certain number of Users, the Morescope license itself is per Company.

A Company does not need to be a legal entity, even though that is usually the case.

Your Company may own another Company in a big hierachy, and emissions will be aggregated based on either operational control approach or an ownership percentage (equity share). You can set up this hierachy in Data / Ownership.

Your Company may have an integration to an ERP system. Also, users in your hierarchy may have access to only one Company or to the whole Group.

A label, on the other hand, is a way to group and filter emissions within a company. All emissions that are labelled will also aggragate to the Company its in.

You cannot filter user access, set up integrations, or set a percentage for labels (that is reserved for the Company level).

Note that emissions might be labelled with different labels, but will not be double counted towards the company.

If you need to be able to differenciate user access, and set up seperate integratios, you will need an Enterprise license with different Companies.
